While the water heats, choose your favourite tea—I’m sipping calming chamomile today—a gentle reminder that while caregiving is beautiful, it can be exhausting.

Place your tea bag or leaves into your cup and breathe in the soothing aroma. Let this be the start of a gentle journey we’ll take together.

Finding Gratitude in the Everyday

Caregiving often fills our days with tasks, worries, and noise. Yet tucked inside are countless moments whispering, “pause, breathe, notice.”

Just weeks ago, on a day heavy with overwhelm, I sat with my tea, feeling the weight of a long to-do list. I chose to find one small thing to be grateful for—a warm, golden patch of sunlight on my favourite chair. That tiny recognition softened my stress and invited peace.

Another time, feeling invisible and drained, a simple “checking in” text from a dear friend refilled my well. Gratitude isn’t about ignoring hardship but about honouring the light amidst shadows.

This week’s challenge is an invitation to find your own sparks—whatever they may be.
